End of Life Planning and Care Services

“The meaning of life is that it stops.”- Franz Kafka

Deciding to plan for the unknown can be an overwhelming experience. I am here to help simplify the process and walk you through your options as you choose the best options for a peaceful end.

I focus on navigating through the many layers of Advanced Directives, burial options, and providing care in the last weeks to days. I truly understand how comforting it can be to have someone by your side to help care for you or your loved ones. Being an End of Life Doula, I offer a more holistic approach to passing, but I also love working in coordination with hospice teams to provide the best possible care. Aromatherapy, music therapy, and touch therapy are just a few of my services.

Mortality is not the most accessible topic to branch into discussion about these days. I hope to help you feel more at ease with the questions you might have, or just opening that door so you feel open to having the conversations that are so important to have before one passes.

I would love to discuss any number of topics surrounding death with you. Please feel free to reach out at anytime.

Other Services Offered

  • Finding ways to live a “greener” life is something I personally strive for every day. I feel the same way about a more environmentally conscious way to die. Last year I felt very lucky to find The Green Burial Council. They are a fantastic organization that shares knowledge and resources to plan an Earth friendly burial.

I would be very happy to walk with you through the journey or learning about the different options that are available and share the knowledge I have gathered on the topic.

If you are interested, please take a look at the GBC’s website.

  • Advanced Directives are one of the most important documents out there. They help your family and friends understand your wishes for what happens to your estate and body after you die. It can seem overwhelming at times to sift through the paperwork, but they are a valued piece of information that you and your loved ones will be glad to have when the time comes. It is never too early to start thinking about, and planning what it is you desire for your end of life.

I am readily available to help you sort through the paperwork, and emotions that can come with it.

  • Being a caregiver for a loved one, friend or family, can be an incredibly wonderful path. It can also be an emotional and stressful experience. Through my own experiences I have learned how very important it is to take some time to focus on yourself and rejuvenate your soul. Taking even a few hours every week to gather your thoughts and be “off the clock” make all the difference in the quality of care you give. One of my favorite parts of being in this line of work is getting to know the admirable caregivers.

Respite care is one of my favorite services to offer. I come and give the caregiver a reprieve to take the time they need to rest. It gives me an amazing chance to offer the same love to them that they show their dear ones.
